Web 1.0 is the internet, web 2.0 is social media. Web 3.0 is said to encompass the re-formation of the internet in virtual environments (VE's) that are networked together. There one can meet others in real time, buy art in the form of NFT's meet in virtual 3-D space and work in virtual cafes, play games, watch movies together. Photographers are selling work there and receiving resale percentages. This panel asks: What are the ways in which photographers and artists can intervene into these spaces in the form of a critical art practice from within the spaces?
