In Guatemalan, the imaginary constantly destroys the existence of brownness and queerness in the affect of the enduring ongoing historical violence of colonialism and empire. Through a queer brown lens, "La Eterna Injusticia" focuses on the intersectionality of a queer utopia and the brown common to reevaluate and destroy icons, images, and monuments to pursue healing and accountability for the inherent violence that history has done to community.
