VCUarts Pollak Building, 325 N. Harrison St.
Art and design communities have seen a rise in the use of risograph printing technology as a cost-efficient solution for the production of printed matter. Specifically, this stencil-based printing technology has been keenly used by those who may have otherwise considered screenprinting, xerox, or offset printing. This workshop, limited to 15 participants on a first-come, sign up in advance basis, will demonstrate the application of this printing technology for photographic reproduction through the use of custom color separations (.icc profiles) and multiple color printing. Additional details will be emailed to participants in advance of the conference start date.
There is no extra fee, however there are only 15 slots, so this is on a first-come, first-serve basis. To sign up, email SPESE2019@gmail.com with RISO WORKSHOP in the subject line after you have received conference registration confirmation.
