Sama Alshaibi is Professor of Photography and University of Arizona's "Distinguished Scholar". She received a Fulbright Fellowship to Palestine (2014-2015). The monograph "Sama Alshaibi: Sand Rushes In" was published by Aperture (NYC, 2015). Alshaibi exhibitions include the 55th Venice Biennale, Honolulu Biennale, MoMA, SMoCA, and the Johnson Museum of Art.
