A composer, photographer, and educator, Sullivan's compositions have been performed widely, and his images featured in books and exhibitions, and licensed by major agencies. He teaches music composition, computer music, and photography. He developed initiatives on creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, Recently he has concentrated on media arts programs for youth, centering on developing literacy through media composition.
