A Fulbright and Aaron Siskind Memorial Scholar, Ailbhe Greaney is a graduate of Dublin City University Ireland 2000, The School of Visual Arts New York 2003, and is Ulster University's Belfast School of Art MFA Photography Course Director, where she has been Lecturer in Photography since 2007. In recent years she has completed a residency at the Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris 2014, and has spoken at "Fast Forward: Women In Photography," Tate Modern, 2015. The work Street Flower was exhibited in the 2016 Aperture Summer Open Exhibition "Photography is Magic," curated by Charlotte Cotton.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
