Taylor Curry lives and works in Savannah, Georgia and graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012, where he works in the imaging lab of the Photography Department. Together with Carson Sanders, he co-founded the independent photography publication Aint-Bad Magazine, with the promotion of contemporary photography and text being the main focus. The objective is to perpetuate the appreciation of modern photography through accessible and affordable publications.
Taylor Curry uses a process that produces camera-less photographs; nature becomes the negative with a process called Cliché-Verre. He uses a glass plate, an enlarger and color paper or Polaroid film to capture the image. The resulting images are detail-rich and striking.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
