"Of Borders and Beyond: The Politics of Immigration and the Latino Experience"
Lupita Murillo Tinnen is Chair of Photography at Collin College. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas' School of Arts and Humanities and an MFA from the University of North Texas. As a practicing artist, her work deals primarily with cultural and personal issues stemming from her background as a first-generation Mexican American. Her work has been exhibited in over 100 shows throughout the United States.
