New light is being shed on the working conditions of adjunct, or contingent, faculty. Some studies estimate as much as 76% of faculty across all types of institutions are contingent. This meeting is for those interested in issues related to Adjuncts. We encourage both contingent and non-contingent faculty to attend this meeting as the adjunct workforce faces ever-evolving challenges that continue to affect individual working conditions and the structure of departments across the country.
