Sheida Soleimani is an Iranian-American artist, currently doing her graduate studies at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. The daughter of two political refugees, Sheida references situations in relevance to her own and her parents' past, while inserting her own critical perspectives on historical and contemporary sociopolitical occurrences in the Middle East.
