Climate change is a complex scientific subject with diverse impacts. This lecture will explore how art can help broaden the public conversation and create a new pathway to understanding this critical issue. We will discuss the basic science of climate change and explore how artists are reacting to its diverse impacts around the globe. As a basis for this discussion, we will also look at how artists have responded to environmental issues in the past.
