Thomas Brennan received his MFA from the University of Arizona. He has been teaching at the University of Vermont since 1989 where he is presently Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Art and Art History. He has received three Creation Grants from the Vermont Council on the Arts and three residencies at New York University. Thomas Brennan's recent work, Collecting Shadows, was included in the 2012 Exposure exhibition at the Photographic Resource Center, Boston, and shown in solo exhibitions at the Kohler Center for the Arts, at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras, and at the Usdan Gallery, and Bennington College.
