"HDSLR Video Production Basics for Photographers: The Interview"
Thursday, March 06 - 12:00PM to 1:15PM
Holiday 6
Shooting and editing a basic interview is an important skill for any photographer moving into video production. This seminar will take you from setup to edit using 2 lights, 2 DSLR cameras, and sound recording equipment. Victor Ha will discuss all the technical elements of the shoot - lighting, camera angles, metering, color management and sound recording. He will also give valuable tips on how to get your subject to answer questions in a way that reduces edit time and gets the information you need for the interview recorded. And finally he will do a live edit of the video from the two DSLR cameras including syncing the sound and choosing cuts to add interest to the final production, all in a one hour seminar.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
