Mara Trachtenberg was born and raised in Long Island, NY. Mara earned her MFA from the University of Connecticut in 2004. Mara has exhibited her work nationally and lives with her husband, daughter, dog and chickens in Wakefield, RI. Trachtenberg is an adjunct professor at the University of Rhode Island.
