Nathan Jurgenson is a social media theorist and PhD student in sociology at the University of Maryland. Focusing on self-documentation on social media, he argues that we have developed "documentary vision" whereby we live our present always aware of its document-potential. Nathan is also co-founder of the Theorizing the Web conference and the Cyborgology blog.
