If Photography was a superhero, it would boast impressive powers: FORM-SHIFTING (able to capture, transfer, project, print ), IMMEDIATE and OMNIPRESENT (digital printing, flickr, and facebook), and able to SCALE tall buildings in a single attachment. Our superhero lends its muscle to almost every artist's practice. This is a superhero built to stretch across disciplines and boundaries, foe to exclusive factions. As artists and educators, how are we alert to this range of strengths. How is our coursework relevant to photography's expansive reach? The panelists will describe how they exploit photography's potential in their work and in their classrooms.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
