The relationship between the watcher and watched is often quite blurryand therefore so is the relationship between observing and understanding, or in terms of Elahi's work, the relationship between information gathering and information analysis. In this back and forth of role play, he demonstrates the intricate relation between the spectator and the target, surveillance and protection, voyeurism and exhibitionism, and ultimately, the nation and the individualand how we cannot but be a part of it.
