Pinky Bass received her MFA in photography from Georgia State University in 1988 at age 52. Her grants include SAF/NEA, RAP and an ASAC Fellowship. Museums that display her work include the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, and various Alabama museums. Among her publications are The Polaroid Book and Book of Alternative Photographic Processes.
