Michael Mergen is a photographer and artist based in Providence, RI. His work focuses on ideas and notions of America and its institutions. He earned his BFA in photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2000 and is a second-year MFA candidate in photography at the Rhode Island School of Design.
