Lurking under the iPhone's "phone" exterior is one of the most inspiring, capable and fun imaging systems in all of photography. More than just a snapshot device, the iPhone is a powerfully imaginative camera and computer that fits right in the palm of your hand. We now have camera, digital lab, and - as Jerry Uelsmann would say - visual research laboratory, all in our shirt pocket. Dan Burkholder will vibrantly demonstrate how he uses the iPhone hardware and apps to capture, stylize, and retouch his images, creating fine art photographs right in the field.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
