"Inarticulate Speech of the Chart: Investigating the Scientific Concept in Photography"

Saturday, March 12 - 10:00AM to 11:45AM
Capitol Center

Addressing and investigating the concept of photographers utilizing conventional or constructed scientific documentation to "prove, explain or discover" a particular outcome (where often only whimsy, misdirection, and irony exists) this panel focuses on the use of utilitarian graphics and evidentiary exhibition in the production of photographically based art. The four panelists will project and discuss a variety of personal and influential pieces that have affected their own approach to science and unequivocal proof.

Moderated by Steve Bliss.
