Saturday, March 12 - 7:00PM to 10:30PM
departing from hotel's International Blvd. exit
It is our great fortune that our host city, Atlanta, is also host to the Henri Cartier-Bresson retrospective, Henri Cartier-Bresson: The Modern Century, at the High Museum. A photography icon, his work is both science and poetry at its height. The Saturday evening bus tour will include the Cartier-Bresson exhibit at the High Museum as well as compelling exhibits at SCAD Atlanta's multiple galleries, including Craig Steven's solo exhibition at the ACA Gallery, Woodruff Arts Center (next to the High Museum); the SPE Women's Caucus Members' Exhibition at the SCAD Trois Gallery; Ben Dashwood solo exhibition at the Dewberry Gallery at SCAD; and the Student and alumni exhibition at the SCAD Atlanta photography/printmaking studios. SCAD, the SPE 2011 National Conference Host Institution, will also host a reception during the bus tour and give attendees the opportunity to explore some of SCAD Atlanta's buildings.
The tour begins at 7:00 p.m. and lasts until 10:00 p.m.
