James Bentley is obsessed with recreating his family's documented history. The oral information that may be lost through a family member's illness, death, or refusal to speak about an important family event stimulates his interest even more. Using old and new photographs, films, and videos, he is weaving together stories about premature death, hidden turmoil, familial lineage, and the influence they have on his character.
