"Visual Sovereignty: Contemporary Native American Photography and the Politics of Imagination"
William Wilson, Navajo, earned a master's of fine art in photography
from the University of New Mexico. Wilson has produced
large-scale multi-media installations that incorporate photography
and sculpture, monumental public artworks, and intimate
photo essays. Currently, he lives in Tucson, AZ, working as an
independent artist and curator.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
