Cybèle Clark-Mendes has exhibited work both nationally and
internationally, including group shows and video screenings, at
the Museum of Contemporary Art in Atlanta, Georgia, at Gallery
825 in Los Angeles, California as well as FLATFILEgalleries
in Chicago. In 2008, she received a fellowship from the New
York Foundation for the Arts, and an Honorable Mention for
En Foco's New Works Photography Awards #12. She was an
artist-in-residence at the Weir Farm Art Center, the Anderson
Ranch Arts Center, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
She has taught photography and video at Cornell University
in addition to teaching at Western Michigan University. Cybèle
Clark-Mendes received her BFA from Cornell University, and
subsequently earned an MFA from the Rhode Island School of
Design.
