Born on November 12, 1960, in Brisbane, Australia, Tracey Moffatt studied visual communications at the Queensland College of Art, from which she graduated in 1982. The half-aboriginal filmmaker and photographer started making videos and photo-dramas in the 1980s. She has shown extensively internationally and is included in over fifty museum collections.
