West & Southwest Chapter Conference
The SPE West and Southwest chapters have joined forces once again to bring you an exciting line up for our online fall chapter conference. Here is the schdule:
Student Portfolio Sharing (Chatroulette) | 1pm pdt / 2pm mt / 4pm est
Students will share their virtual portfolios with peers from many different schools in a series of randomized small group zoom sessions. Participants will need to have a portfolio of up to 20 images available through an easily accessible link. Faculty are encouraged to participate and bring their classes. This event is free for students.

Documenting Social Change: a Panel Discussion | 4pm pdt / 5pm mt / 7pm est
In many ways this summer has been defined by the Black Lives Matter protests across the country. In this discussion, our panelists will describe their multifaceted approaches to ethically depicting social change, civil rights, and the challenges of documentary in the age of pandemics and surveillance.

SPE WESTxSOUTHWEST Film Festival | 6pm pdt /7pm mt /9pm est
The SPE West Chapter (home of Hollywood) and the Southwest Chapter (location of many classic westerns) proudly invites you to the SPE WxSW FILM FESTIVAL.
Join us for an evening of remarkable short videos showcasing the range and depth of what SPE photographers are creating in this medium. Take a night off from Netflix and sit back, enjoy and be prepared to be amazed. Popcorn optional.
