Now accepting nominations for possible candidates for the SPE Board of Directors election for the 2027 - 2031 term of office. We invite recommendations of individuals with unique perspectives, skill sets, and lived experience.

Skills useful to the organization include experience in leadership, administration, fundraising, finance, marketing and communication, event coordination, work on other nonprofit boards, not-for-profit governance, and experience in SPE leadership roles with caucuses, chapters, conference committees, and conference operations. Grant-writing, website design, and social media strategy skillsets would be particularly helpful at this time as well.

Board members are elected for four-year terms and elections are held each fall.

Recommendations must be made by current SPE members.
Deadline to submit nominations: May 15, 2026
