SPE Honored Educator Award The Society for Photographic Education’s Honored Educator Award is to recognize a career educator who has made a significant and lasting contribution to photographic education through teaching, scholarship, or professional practice. The award is presented annually by SPE’s National Board of Directors at the society’s annual conference. SPE Insight Award The SPE Insight Award is to honor an SPE member whose national or international career has made a distinguished and lasting contribution to photographic education, advancing how photography is understood through innovative practice, mentorship, scholarship, or creative work. Awarded annually by SPE’s Board of Directors, it recognizes sustained excellence and influence across the field.
