Little Boxes

Little Boxes started as a funky, hand-colored revision of a row of little white cottages on Cape Cod and morphed into a search for individuality in a society that breeds conformity. The title was inspired by the song, Little Boxes, written by Malvina Reynolds and sung by Pete Seeger:

"Little boxes made of ticky tacky, little boxes all the same,
there's a green one and a pink one and a blue one and a yellow one.
And they're all made out of ticky tacky and they all look just the same."
