Lisette Otero-Lewis, an accomplished photographer with a MFA at the Academy of Art. She is part of the Adjunct Faculty of the Digital Media Production School at Daytona State College. Focused on exploring cultural hybridity within the Puerto Rican Diaspora through contemporary lyrical documentary-style photography, Lisette intertwines her personal narrative of growing up in the United States with her Puerto Rican heritage and family experiences.
In her ongoing projects, Lisette delves into unique perspectives and stories within her own identity and family. What she desires is for audiences to undergo a profound and thought- provoking experience when encountering her work.
