Lindsay is a recent graduate from the University of Iowa MA/MFA Dual Degree Program in Studio Arts. She has a primary concentration in Photography, with a minor concentration in Graphic Design. Within her three year graduate teaching assistantship, she has taught a total of 9 sections of digital photography for both art majors/minors, and non-majors, in addition to 1 section of graphic design for non-majors. Lindsay currently teaches at the University of Nevada Reno, courses include: digital photography, intermediate color photography, and studio lighting for both art majors/minors and non-majors.

Lindsay creates photo documentaries that shed awareness on contemporary American cultural norms and political values and how they affect American society on the macro scale. In more recent months, Lindsay has taken interest on how climate change negatively affects large populations in the mountain west and high sierras. In June, 2017, Lindsay was the recipient of the PDN's 2017 Photo Annual Award for student work. She was a presenter at the 2017 Midwest Regional SPE with her work entitled "History Is Written By The Winner". Her photographic images are on permanent collection at the Albright-Knox Gallery in Buffalo, NY and the Lehigh Valley Center in Bethlehem, PA. Her recent work has been published in the Photo District News (PDN), YET Magazine, and Ain't-Bad Magazine. Across the country, she has had her work exhibited at 25+ other shows since 2014.
