The work of Linda Robinson explores the subversion of the codes of snapshot photography, the minimalist landscape, and their correlation to memory in reference to issues of home and domesticity. She has been working with conceptually based art within the medium of photography and inter-media, and is consistently moving her studio practice forward to coincide with the pulse of contemporary art. Linda Robinson is Assistant Professor of Photography at Wichita State University, and also the Gallery Director at Center Gallery, home of the Midwest Center for Photography in Wichita, Kansas. She received her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute.
