Alternate Paths Series 2024
This portfolio includes 6 toned and anthotyped kallitypes that were displayed as part of the fourth 'Alternate Paths' exhibit in Rochester, NY, in 2024. These were made by printing and toning the kallitypes (each a macro image of a grape-vine tendril), then applying various anthotype emulsions over the top and exposing grape leaves as photograms. The series was partially inspired by the macro botanical images of Karl Blossfeldt, and partially inspired by my desire to experiment with combining alternative different alternative photo processes.
