Current and ongoing project intervening the catered narratives in the family photo album that depicts a happy and rather banal childhood and my family's immigrant experience. This series uses photos taken at my 10th birthday party in Houston, Texas. The capture of festivities see like any child's birthday but it's also problematic in the purpose of these photos and how it omits contentions in the life of the birthday child.
