As a first year art photography student at the University of Colorado Denver I was having a cup of coffee at the bagel shop on UCD's Auraria campus one day when I looked up and saw an intriguing configuration of chairs. I pulled out my trusty ten year old point-and-shoot camera and took a photograph. A few days later, at another watering hole on campus, I spied another interesting arrangement of chairs. And so it went, one image leading to another.
I like the idea of seeing what non-photographers likely don't see, and bringing that sight to them in photographs. It's the 'seeing' what others don't see and the 'bringing' that which others can't--that's why I want to be a photographer.
"Seats' are what I saw and this portfolio is how I bring them to you. I hope you enjoy them.
