Untitled Manuscript Vol. 1
This is a series which takes inspiration from works of Haruki Murakami. Reading his books always gives me a sense of disorientation and vertigo, like I've been turned upside down and I can't tell what is real and what is not. My goal is to apply this same magical realist lens to ordinary scenes in the real world—to find the strange and out of place among the mundane. Each photo is imagined as a scene in an unwritten novel, forming a cohesive mood, if not a comprehensible story.
