about
I am a photographer fascinated by the discovery of new details hidden within everyday settings and by moments of visual serendipity that reveal the unexpected. My work draws from both portrait and fine art traditions, often exploring the expressive possibilities of color; its ability to shape mood, evoke memory, and expand the imagination.
My journey in photography began at the age of seven, when my grandmother gave me my first camera. That early gift sparked a lifelong curiosity about the world through the lens, a passion that continues to deepen with each personal project and every class I teach.
I have had the privilege of teaching photography at the University of La Verne and currently as an adjunct professor at California Baptist University. I find great joy in helping students cultivate their own visual voices, encouraging them to see not only with their eyes but also with their hearts and minds.
