Born in Brooklyn. Attended Stuyvesant H.S., Brooklyn College (BA 1974), UCSD (MFA 1977). NYC CETA Artists Project 1978-79. Emeritus Professor at Drexel University; residing in Philadelphia since 1991. Have exhibited locally to internationally. Special interests in paired images, image/text, global material culture and urban landscapes (especially Italy, China, U.K.). Recent one-person shows at Hillyer Art Space (DC), Art Space NC (Raleigh), Viewpoint (Sacramento), University of the Arts (Philadelphia), Centro Arcobaleno (Rome). Co-coordinator of the CETA Arts Legacy Project seeking to preserve and popularize the history of the largest Federal artists' employment project (1974-81) post New Deal.
