Roger Ballen Lecture
Ballen last spoke at the PRC in 2009 and we are thrilled to welcome him back as well as revive the PRC Lecture series with this late-breaking lecture.
Ballen was born in New York in 1950 and since 1982, he has been living and taking photographs in South Africa. Ballen has received many "Bests," including Photography Book of the Year Award from PhotoEspaña, Photographer of the Year Award from the Rencontres d'Arles Awards, Best Documentary Title from photo-eye, & several music video awards.
Since 2000, Ballen has had over 200 solo and group exhibitions worldwide and his work is represented in countless prestigious museums. He recently launched the Roger Ballen Photography Award.
