From September 10 to October 11, 2015, MPM throws the spotlight on The Post-Photographic Condition, the theme conceived by renowned Catalan guest curator Joan Fontcuberta.
Through a rigorously curated and provocative exhibition program that showcases established and emerging international and Canadian artists, the biennial stands at the forefront of current investigations on contemporary still and moving images. MPM brings forward acclaimed art professionals, academics, and curators, advancing leading-edge research through a major publication, an international colloquium, a portfolio review, as well as a series of artist talks. The program features the Dazibao Prize, video screenings, workshops and guided tours.
Le Mois de la Photo à Montréal 2015 features 29 artists from five continents, and presents more than 100 works, including a number of productions specially created for its 14th edition.
