Photo & Darkroom Basics with Heather Murray

This class is for anyone who needs instruction on getting started with hand-processing and printing b&w film, or for those who would like a refresher course after a long absence from darkroom work. This course will take place over two sessions, from noon to 4:00 pm, Saturday August 10th and Sunday the 11th.

The first session will cover: B&W film developing & printing contact sheets of the negatives. The second session will cover: Printing photos from negatives in the darkroom. Students should bring TWO rolls of shot standard b&w film to the first class -- preferably 24-exposure rolls of 35mm film. For the second class session, students will need to bring a package of photographic paper -- more info will be provided at the first class session.

Cost for this course, which will be limited to 8 participants, is: $95.00 for Print Room members $105.00 for non-members

The instructor for this class is CIA Graduate, Heather Murray. Heather presently teaches our Pinhole Camera Workshop and our Darkroom Orientation.
