Going Down the Sourcing Rabbit Hole: My Transition from Made to Found Images
Paul Shambroom is a photographer who explores American power and culture through original and sourced images. His work has been collected by major museums around the world and was included the Whitney Biennial and other group and solo exhibitions at important museums and galleries. His photographs have been published in three monographs. He has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the Creative Capital Foundation, among others. Paul was born in Teaneck, NJ and lives in Minneapolis. He is on the faculty of the Department of Art at the University of Minnesota.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
