Ben is an artist, bookmaker, and art teacher. A 2013 Mercedes-Benz Emerging Artist finalist, his work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is included in many public and private collections such as the Detroit Institute of Arts. His first book, Beautiful Pig was self-published in 2013 and was shortlisted by The Paris Photo- Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards. Ben currently teaches photography at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
