Paul Trichel is a second year Masters of Fine Arts candidate at Louisiana Tech University in
Ruston. Trichel's work addresses identity in response to being raised in Arkansas and Louisiana.
His photographs incorporate models and still life compositions as surrogates of his personal
experiences. Trichel's videos document the stories of other minorities in the American South.
Trichel creates his work as an effort to provide a sense of community and inspiration for
individuals who feel a need to belong.
