Lighting Pedagogy/A Splash of Color

Rob Dickes is an artist, educator, and commercial photographer. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Kentucky. His commercial work has been published in magazines like Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Cigar Aficionado as well as with brands such as Pottery Barn, Harley-Davidson, Sikorsky Helicopter, and more in numerous catalogs and advertising campaigns. His love for lighting began in college and the real learning happened when he worked as a photographer's assistant in San Francisco and then in his own studio in South Florida. Rob is currently an Associate Professor of Art at the University of Southern Indiana.
