Panel Talk: Shifting Grounds

Peter Hiatt's artwork is concerned with the relationship people have with their environment in contemporary life. He uses unique photographic techniques to investigate issues of perception in a digital society. His work has been shown in art galleries throughout North Texas.

Peter Hiatt was born near Chicago in 1988 but has spent most of his life in Texas. He attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, earning a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree in Studio Art, with an emphasis in photography. After graduating in 2012, he moved to Fort Worth and became interested in the way people interacted with the world through technology.

Today, Peter Hiatt lives in Denton, Texas, where he is an MFA candidate at the University of North Texas.
