Presentation: Photogrammetry: Using Photography for 3D-Documenta by Kalee Appleton
This presentation will look at the technology of Photogrammetry, a digital technique of stitching multiple photographs of a given subject into a 3D object. Museums use image-scanning / photogrammetry, to create 3D digital versions of their collection; art researchers visiting remote locations document object of interest generating life-like 3D documents ofobject; and artistaretaking advantage of the software to create artwork that can exist physically asa 2D prints, 3D print or remain in digital format. Thispresentation,will present give an overview various photogrammetry software including the step by step process of using the software, Photoscan.
