Presentation: Ghost Images in an Archive: A Case Study of Dr. Walter Spink's Ajanta Photographs by Betsy Williamson.
Ghost Images in an Archive will focus on the photographs of Art Historian Dr. Walter M. Spink at the Buddhist caves at Ajanta, Maharashtra, India as a form of vernacular photography. Williamson will explore the trajectory of these Spink's work into the public eye and its reinterpretation through the archive.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
