Workshop
Saturday, September 29 - 9:15AM to 12:00PM
Open to all, this workshop is designed to help photographers comprehend and affordably leverage the expressive potential of light through observation and practical demonstrations. The best light for a photograph is the kind that articulates and ideally, elevates the image's underlying content and message. This workshop will include overviews of lighting systems and demonstrations that feature creative and cost effective solutions to create powerful and purpose driven light. Additional time will be dedicated to short primers on the following lighting relevant topics: sensor/film dynamic range, color temperature and types of light sources.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
